New Year's Eve

We usually do something low key for New Year's Eve; either at our house or a friends  house. The celebrations always involve the kids, lots of food and watching the ball drop in Time's Square on television.
This year the kids are each inviting a friend to spend the night with us at our condo in the city. The plan is to have a lobster dinner and hopefully if the weather cooperates go skating at city hall. Lobsters are on sale in the Toronto area for $5.99 a pound, which is an amazing price. I found some really great gold party horns and hats at the dollar store which I am going to use with white dishes and black napkins.

I also thought I would make little treat bags as party favors using this free printable...
