Welcome to 2013 everyone! Hope you all had a good New Year's Eve.
We are still in Christmas break mod here and I haven't had a lot of time to concentrate on this blog. In my spare moments I have been trying to put away decorations, keep up with the laundry and deal with the plague of flu that has hit our house.
I did manage to get the tree out to the curb and I have vacuumed up about a kagillion needles. Have you ever noticed how the needles keep reappearing for days, even weeks after the tree is gone?
It is kind of sad how we all fuss so much about finding the perfect tree, decorating it just so and then within a few weeks we can't wait to take it down and out it goes to the end of the driveway. Christmas is great, but I do love it when everything is put away and the house is back in order.
