This is not a typical nursery by any means; the use of black and gold is so unusual in a space for a little one. I can't put my finger on it, but there is something about this shot that appeals to me. The proportion of black and white is perfect, the shiny surfaces add dimension and the ribbon detail on the bassinet is nice and tailored. I can see this room evolving nicely into a big girl room with the introduction of a little pink, kelly green or even red. Love it!

Edited: Look what I found when searching for a source for the above photo...another view of the room. Looks like they decided to use red, orange and yellow for accent colours--very pretty!
