I am off to visit a dear friend in Connecticut until Monday. She has just moved to a new home and I can't wait to see it.

When I think of classic east coast homes this is what comes to mind....

This Georgian style home in located in Darien and was designed by Mark Finley and decorated by Bunny Williams. (of course) It's tiny, only a little over 7,000 square feet!

Sam Allen is a Connecticut interior designer with an amazing portfolio.....Sorry some of the pics are so small.

Wow, I just embedded a photo on my blog! I can't believe I did it all by myself. I still have so many questions about blogger, but until I get the answers I am just jumping in and trying things. I am nervous that one small mistake, one rogue key stroke will trigger something in cyberspace that will blow up this blog. 

This house has been in my exterior file for some time. I love the symetry, the classic black and white paint and the topiaries on each side of the door.
