Inspiration: Tiny Kitchens

I love seeing what people can do with super small spaces. I especially enjoy seeing how tiny kitchens in apartments and condos are designed.  For me, bigger, is not better. I love how everything is at your finger tips and how there is only space to have exactly what you need and love. There is absolutely no room for clutter, a junk drawer or that waffle maker that was used once 10 years ago.

I came across these two tiny kitchens recently and thought I would share them with you.

The first one is from New York City designer Ellen Hanson.

Ellen has done an amazing job designing a new kitchen that successfully combines modern elements with period touches such as the checkered floor, vintage looking faucet and upper cabinets. I love the contemporary table and chairs and the full wall of subway tile.

This next kitchen is in a New York City studio apartment designed by Frances Herrera

What's amazing about this kitchen is that it is only 54 square feet!
